Walk ins and spur of the moment riders wishing to take a Segway tour are always welcome; however, to ensure the highest quality touring experience, advanced reservations are recommended. When you reserve a tour, we schedule our highly trained guides and support staff to make your Segway adventure as amazing as possible. For this reason we require 48 hours’ notice (one week for 8 persons or more) for cancellations AND rescheduling of tours. If you fail to meet your appointment, we still incur the same expenses and may have turned others away. Therefore, those guests who fail to show for a reservation or cancel without proper notice will be charged the full tour price for the reserved spaces or have existing vouchers redeemed.
We will run tours in light rain; the Segway is just as waterproof as any other vehicle. We will not run tours in hazardous storms with thunder and lightning. Central Texas weather is as unpredictable as any other place, so rest assured, you will not be charged if Mother Nature tells us the tour cannot depart at the scheduled time. Please call first if you have concerns about the weather. We will call only if we are certain your tour will not run. Frequently, thunder storms blow over quickly and we are able to depart a few minutes after the scheduled time.
The Segway is designed to be used by a wide range of people. However, it is recommended that the rider weigh between 100 and 285 pounds. Riders under 18 must be accompanied by a legal parent / guardian. The rider must be physically able to climb and descend stairs without assistance or use of a handrail.
All parties of 6 or more riders are subject of 15% auto gratuity.
